If you want to dine like a gourmet without the hefty price, this is the restaurant for you. Pebbles is a locally owned three-restaurant chain that has a reputation for great food and creative appetizers. Its pleasant atmosphere is styled after Key West, casual and comfortable. The portions are generous and presented with an artistic flair. The Ybor Gold twin filets are seared, then bathed in the namesake lager and delivered with caramelized onions and three-cheese potatoes. A sautéed double breast of chicken has a jacket of sour-orange sauce and sliced avocados. And the roast duck arrives in a glaze of strawberries, pistachios, and Triple Sec.
