The West Side
is the largest of the three Downtown Disney
areas. It offers Disney dining, live music venues, fast
food eateries, retail stores, and movie theaters. There
is no general admission fee to the West Side, but some
venues require tickets or may charge a cover. Entertainment
Cirque du Soleil
La Nouba,
the new Cirque du Soleil show, conceived especially
for Downtown Disney West Side, is presented in
a state-of-the-art venue - an inspiring cylindrical
structure with metal towers soaring to a height of 160
feet.
DisneyQuest DisneyQuest
is an indoor interactive theme park with five floors
of video games and simulators. Guests enter through
a main plaza called Ventureport. From Ventureport
they can choose and enter one of the various themed
zones, such as Battle for Buccaneer Gold (which
is themed after the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction)
or Buzz Lightyear’s Astroblaster (car races with
shooting at targets). Guests can also climb aboard a
real river raft or ride a roller coaster of your own
design.
AMC 24 Theatres Complex
24 separate theaters accommodating up to 5,390 total
guests. Eighteen theaters with stadium seating, two
with balconies and screens reaching three stories tall.
Dining Bongos Cuban Cafe
Bongos Cuban Cafe is a relaxed family dining
room with an Old Havana vibe, Cuban cuisine and, naturally,
two dance floors with Latin rhythms.
Wetzel’s Pretzels Known
for its "30-minute freshness guarantee," Wetzel's
Pretzels offers fresh hand-rolled soft pretzels
in a variety of popular flavors such as Sinful Cinnamon,
Almond Crunch, Grateful Garlic and Cheese Meltdown,
and the one-of-a-kind Wetzel Dog - a fresh-baked pretzel
wrapped around an all-beef hot dog.
Wolfgang Puck Cafe
The motto of the cafe is "Live, love, eat". Specialties
- Gourmet pizza, fresh grilled fish, Chinois chicken
salad, vegetable spring rolls, sushi/raw bar. |
