| Disney- MGM Studios is home to more recent Disney
characters. Besides, it's a place where guests can witness
the inner working of television and movie production.
Entering the park, guests walk down Hollywood
Boulevard, main street of MGM Studios, and
immediately encounter the park icon, a gigantic Sorcerer
Mickey Hat. Underneath the hat is a Disney
pin station and a cluster of Discover the Stories
Behind the Magic interactive kiosks that offer games
and questions about the park.
Rockin' Roller Coaster
starring Aerosmith located near The Twilight
Zone Tower of Terror on Sunset Boulevard. The
extreme coaster is teamed with the exciting sound of
America's premier rock band, Aerosmith, creating a high-speed
thrill ride that will literally rock 'n' roll guests.
Twilight Zone
The famous Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction
is situated at the end of Sunset Boulevard. Here, in
the Hollywood Tower Hotel, guests are seated
aboard an old "freight elevator" that glides through
mysterious hotel passageways, past ghostly images of
former guests. The elevator enters a pitch-black shaft
and launches guests skyward unexpectedly, then, just
as suddenly, the cables 'snap' and the vehicle then
plunges 13 stories…
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
This spectacular performance is a 35-minute
live show with thrilling special effects. Key scenes
from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" are re-enacted
to demonstrate to visitors how stunts are designed and
performed. Audience volunteers have a chance to participate
in the scenes.
The Magic of Disney Animation
Guests can watch animators at work here. The tour is
an explanation of the cartoon production process.
It goes through the stages of rough art animation, refining
the rough art to line drawings, development of background
scenes, photocopying them onto plastic, using ink and
paint to finish the cels and finally, photographing,
compiling and editing these into the finished product.
Fantasmic
This sensational laser and light show takes place in
Hollywood Hills Amphitheater located near "The Twilight
Zone Tower of Terror". It is shown nightly at park closing.
During the performance, Sorcerer Mickey is fighting
with Disney villains. The entire show lasts 25-minutes
long.
