The Central Florida Zoological
Park
is dedicated to the stewardship of our natural environment
through the exhibition of living animals and plants
and sustaining programs in wildlife education and
conservation. The Zoo has several programs that not
only entertain, but educate visitors and give them
information about animals life and behavior.
Learning Safari Tour
Traveling around the Zoo with a trained Docent and
learning fascinating facts about the animals, their
natural history, habitats, status in the wild, and
the role zoos play in their survival.
Endangered Species Tour
Visitors can discover why animals are becoming endangered
and threatened, what efforts are being taken to save
their ecosystems, the role Zoos play in species propagation
and conservation, and how people can help these animals.
Night Sights The
Central Florida Zoo presents Night Sights program,
which gives guests a chance to experience Zoo's night
sights and sounds. After dinner, during guided flashlight
tour of the Zoo they meet nocturnal animals. This
program is perfect for families but because it lasts
until 10:00 p.m., it is not recommended for children
five and under.
