| Every evening Epcot presents
"IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth". This spectacular
presentation is centered around the World Showcase
Lagoon where fireworks, lasers and dancing fountains
combine in a choreographed display performed to an inspirational
musical score. |
Mexico
Mexico is the first pavilion on the left as
quests enter World Showcase. It is made as a Mayan
ziggurat. Outside the temple, vendors wearing traditional
Mexican closes sell merchandise from carts. |
Norway
Visitors can board a 16 passenger Viking-style boat
and travel along a 10th century Viking village
and through a mythical forest. Then they pass a grand
fjord and experience a North Sea storm. |
| China
The Chinese pavilion includes a replica of Temple
of Heaven, a temple in the Forbidden City in Beijing.
Around the temple there are oriental gardens, ponds
and mulberry trees. Traditional Chinese music adds to
the soothing ambiance of this peaceful place. |
Germany
Here guest can feel the atmosphere of Oktoberfest
party, listen to a Bavarian style music and try Bavarian
cuisine, seating at long communal tables. The center
of World Showcase's Germany is a typical cobblestoned
platz (plaza). The tower at the plaza has a clock that
chimes a special melody on the hour. |
Italy
Replicas of the best works of Italian architecture:
Doge's palace, Venetian Campanile, Fottana
de Netuno. Guests can enjoy Italian music, performed
by singer of Naples. The romance of Venice is demonstrated
in the Venetian bridges and the gondolas that
are moored alongside the World Showcase lagoon. |
| United
States: American Adventure The attraction is
housed in a red-brik colonial style mansion, reminding
Independence Hall or Boston's Old State House. The rose
gardens around the pavilion are unique in that they
are all varieties named for U.S. Presidents. Inside
the pavilion visitors can hear traditional American
folk songs performed by Voice of Liberty, an
a capella singing group. The American Adventure
show tells about American spirit and history. |
Japan
A red torii gate symbolize Japan at Disney World
Showcase. Visitors can also see replica of the 8th-century
Horyuji Temple of Nara, koi fish ponds and listen to
Matsuriza, Japanese taiko drumming, which is performed
several times a day. |
France
What is France famous for, besides the Eiffel
tower? Of course, it's perfume and wine. French perfume
is represented here at "La Signature" shop, and
wine - at "La Maison du Vin". "Impressions
de France" movie is shown at the Palais du Cinema.

| Morocco
The spirit of North Africa is captured in the
World Showcase Moroccan pavilion: exotic belly dancers,
oriental costumes and music. In front of a replica of
the Koutoubia Minaret of Marrakesh there is a fountain
(inspired by the Nejjarine fountain Fez). And of course,
there is an oriental bazaar with street vendors
selling brasswares, fezes, leather goods, rugs and jewelry.

United
Kingdom The historical architecture of England
- English Tudor, Georgian, Elizabethan, and English
Victorian styles - is featured in the United Kingdom
pavilion. Children have a chance to encounter with
such characters as Pooh, Alice the Queen of Hearts.
In the shops of the pavilion Twinings tea and Pringle
sweaters from Scotland are offered. |
Canada
The style of Canada pavilion was inspired
by the Chateau Laurier, a historic hotel found in Canada's
capital city, Ottawa. The landscaping of the Canadian
pavilion includes willows, birch, sweet gum, plum and
maple trees. "O Canada" film is showed at the
360? Circle-Vision theatre. |
