The lagoon give guests a chance to enjoy the colorful, amazing world of the coral reef of tropic seas. Giant rays and thousands of exotic fish surround guests as they explore the remains of a shipwreck while coming eye-to-eye with sharks and barracuda.

For most guests, the highlight of a visit to Discovery Cove will be the rare opportunity to swim and play with a beautiful bottlenose dolphin. After a brief orientation, including an informative video and trainer talk, groups of 6-8 guests begin their thrilling 30-minute in-water dolphin experience. First they become acquainted with their dolphin through hugs, kisses and rubdowns. Then they swim, play and may even have an unforgettable experience of dolphin ride.

Guests can enjoy a relaxing warm crystal water, a variety of unique landscapes: a sunny island beach, a dense tropical rainforest, an underwater cave and rocky waterfalls. At the entrance to the Tropical River there is a Tropical River Entrance Pool which is a wonderful option for small quests of the park.

Snorkeling in a beautiful natural-looking ray pool with dozens of southern and cownose rays. These gentle creations are so close that it's possible to touch them and feel the velvet of their wings.

Through the Tropical River's magnificent waterfalls guests enter the free-flight Tropical Bird Aviary. It's 100 foot long and spanned both water and land. The Aviary is home to over 30 species of tropical birds, that guests can mingle with, touch and feed.
